Elise Johnson Peters, 63, of North Tazewell, died Tuesday at a Tennessee hospital.
Born in Buchanan County, Va., she was a daughter of Macie Richardson Johnson of Mansfield, Ohio and the late Sanders Johnson. She was of the Methodist faith.
She was preceded in death by three sons, Larry Peters, Sterling Peters and Gary Peters and one daughter, Carly Peters.
Additional survivors: sons, Gerald Peters and Danny Peters, both of Chicago, Ill.; daughters, Donna Hassan, Cathy Noriega, Glenna Pospiech, Diana Peters and Sandra Peters, all of Chicago; brothers, Paul Johnson and Bill Johnson, both of Mansfield; sisters, Gaynell Bowling of North Tazewell and Judy Stewart of Jornsville, Ohio; sixteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Perry & St. Clair Funeral Home Chapel in Tazewell with the Rev. Daniel Richardson officiating. Burial will be at the Maplewood Cemetery in Tazewell
