At his home following an extended illness.
Born December 21, 1919, in Lewis County Ky. He was the son of the late Jesse Andrew Cassidy and Lacy Mae Pruitt-Cassity Lewis.
He was retired from CSX Railroad, A member of Lloyd Ridge Pentecostal Church in Garrison, and a WW11 Army Veteran.
Surviving are his wife Pleasant Gladlene Jordan- Cassidy. They would have been married 59 years April 20th; One daughter ,Dixie Ilene Cassidy - Clark of South Shore, Eight sons, Freddie Junior Cassidy and Ronnie Roger Cassidy Both of Sidney Ohio.George Homer Cassidy and James Leon Cassidy both of West Portsmouth Ohio Danny Ray Cassidy of New Carlisle Ohio. Johnny Dean Cassidy of Troy Ohio. Jerry Mathew Cassidy of South Shore Ky. And Virgil Andrew Cassidy of Vanceburg Ky.
Two sisters Grethel Kamer and Elizabeth Madden, Both of Garrison ky.
Two brothers William Isaac Cassidy of South Shore ky and Virgil Cassidy of Carrothe, Ohio.

Services were conducted Sunday March 15, 1998 at 2:00 p.m. at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore. Rev. Mark Cassidy officiated with Burial in Spy Run Cemetery at Garrison ky.
