Mrs. Minnie Estle Rader Sims, 90, of the Christian Anchorage Nursing Center, Marietta, O., died Monday, January 9, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Wirt County January 18, 1887, a daughter of the late Samuel R. and Susan Cain Rader.
Mrs. Sims parents were two of the four original members who built the Two Runs Baptist Church in Wirt County. She was a member of the church.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Pershing (Ruth) Coffman, and Mrs. Allen (Lenora) Mitchell, both of Parkersburg; two sons, Carl Bill Sims of Vienna, and Samuel Sims of Uniontown, O.; five grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Granville Sims, in 1957; and by a son, three daughters, seven brothers, and two sisters.
Services were conducted at 11 a.m. today (Thursday) at the Franklin and Son Memorial Chapel, Parkersburg, with Pastor Elmer Rose officiating, and interment was in the Two Runs Baptist Cemetery.
