Larry was a water treatment specialist and worked for many years with the West Virginia Rural Water Association, helping small communities across the state receive and treat drinking water. His travel included going to Ethiopia to represent a rural water treatment system at the World Water Conference through World Bank. Larry also wrote articles for On Tap a magazine published by the National Drinking Water Clearing House at West Virginia University. He was past Master of the Wirt County Masonic Lodge 82 AF & AM. Larry was a master traditional Appalachian Banjo picker, carrying on the traditions of his culture and family.
