Mildred Ione Rogers was the third daughter of Alma Hernando Rogers and Frances Mary Huband.

She was born February 28, 1894 in North Ogden, Utah. She married Charles Theodore Dickeman on 30 March, 1922. They had two children.

Mildred was a superb artist and did much commercial artwork. Her delightful pen-and-ink drawings embellished a volume of James Whitcomb Riley's "A Host of Children", and her Christmas cards were originals which delighted their many recipients over the years.

She and her family traveled extensively to odd and exotic parts of the world as she followed her military husband to his various postings.

She passed away on December 7, 1994 in Richmond, California, at the admirable age of 100; she was survived by her children, Margaret Dickeman, Costa Rica, and Jeffrey Martin Dickemann, California.
