Shelby T. "Pug" McKinney, 62, of Mooresville,died Saturday at Morgan County Memorial Hospital.
The son of William Elwood and Stella Jane Hudson McKinney, he was born 9/12/1921 in Morgantown, KY. He married Katherine Satterfield in 1940, and she survives.
A Mooresville resident for 25 years, McKinney was a veteran of WWII.
He was a steel mill blocker fo 25 years at Bridgetown Brass, retiring in 1976.
Surviving besides his wife are 3 daughters, Shelby J. King of Indianapolis, Dorothy Ward of Franklin and Anetta Sue Hoagland of Brownsburg; a son, Thomas McKinney of Mooresville; a brother, Carl McKinney of Bowling Green, KY; 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Another brother preceded him in death.
