Kay Rogers
Mrs. Kay ROGERS, 40, of 1300 Washington St., died Tuesday night at her home.
She was born March `8, 1950 in Rochester to Ralph and Dorothy BUCKMASTER FOGELSANGER. She had lived all her life in this community. She was married June 6, 1971 in Rochester to William A. ROGERS, who survives. She had been employed for 17 years by Brookside Group-Torin Division, Rochester, and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Women of the Moose, the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW, the Rochester High School Football Moms, and the RHS Boosters Club. She was an active volunteer with the Rochester Girls Softball League.
Surviving with the husband are a daughter, Stacey ROGERS, and a son, Donnie ROGERS, at home; the father, Ralph FOGELSANGER, Rochesteer; a sister, Mrs. Edward (Janet) BISCH, Rochester; two brothers, Richard FOGELSANGER, Chicago, and Bud WETZEL, Rochester, and the maternal step-great-grandmother, Maude BUCKMASTER, Rochester. Preceding in death were her mother; two sisters, Betty and Donna [FOGELSANGER], and two brothers, Jack and Rich [FOGELSANGER].
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Frank KILCLINE officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call at the Foster & Good Funeral Home, Rochester, from 2 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until services Friday. A vigil wake will be at 8 p.m. today at the funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Girls Softball League.
