Dixie L. ARVEN, 78, Logansport, died at 11:26 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent's Hospital, Indianapolis.
Born in Decatur to Harold and Francile BURGER HARVEY, she married E. Dean ARVEN on Sept. 4, 1941 in Rochester. He survives.
Mrs. Arven was a homemaker, a member of Rochester First United Methodist Church and a 1941 graduate of Rochester High School.
Survivors include two brothers, Donald and wife Mary HARVEY, Monroe, and Gary and wife Mary Ann HARVEY, Decatur; one sister, Jane and husband Jack PARKER, Pierceton; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack [HARVEY] and James HARVEY.
Graveside services are at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Rochester I.O.O.F. Cemetery with the Rev. George HAPNER officiating. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the McCloskey-Hamilton-Gundrum Funeral Home, 1603 E. Broadway St., Logansport.
