Ardmore — Glenda Joan Linderman, 58, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2010, in Ada, Okla. Services will be Monday, October 4, 2010, at 2 p.m. in The Chapel at Griffin - Hillcrest, Ardmore with the Reverend Melvin Palmer officiating. Internment will follow in McAlister Cemetery, Overbrook, Oklahoma.
Glenda was born January 3, 1952, in Leon, Okla., to Mr. Raymond Palmer, Sr. and Mrs. Millie (Phillips) Palmer. She married Will Linderman on August 14, 1970, in Gainesville, Texas.
Glenda loved caring for her family and worked all her life as a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her mother; four brothers, Raymond Palmer Jr., Jimmy Palmer, John Palmer, and David Glenn Palmer.
Glenda is survived by her husband, Will, of the home; children, Angel Alvarez and husband, Luis of Ardmore, and Sheila Linderman of Ardmore; five grandchildren, Selena Alvarez, Dominique Alvarez, Luis Alvarez, Jr., John Matthew Almendarez, Jr. of Oklahoma City, and Zackery Linderman of Ardmore; father, Raymond, Sr. of Ardmore; sisters, Rebecca Collins of Ardmore, Lahoma Lowe of Tishomingo, and Norma Higginbotham; brothers, Winston Palmer and James Palmer, all of Ardmore, numerous nieces and nephews.
