DECEMBER 5, 1929 ~ ~ FEBRUARY 8, 2009


Mr. Harrison, of Charlotte, NC, passed away peacefully February 8, 2009 at his home. He was born December 5, 1929 in London, England to the late Leo and Frances Harrison. A loving husband, father, brother and son, he leaves behind his wife of fifty years, Marie-Claude; daughter Elizabeth James and husband Robert of San Jose, CA; son Pierre Harrison and wife Catherine of Matthews, NC; brothers Peter Harrison and wife Nancy of Australia, David Harrison and wife Marion of Washington and Timothy Guthrie-Harrison and wife Mo of England; grandchildren Christopher and Philip James and Mary Christina Harrison and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service and internment will be held at St. John's Episcopal Church, Saturday, February 14, 2009 at 3:00pm. The Reverend Gale Cooper and The Reverend Dr. Sudduth Cummings officiating. The family would like to thank Dr. James Boyd, his staff and the team at Presbyterian Hospice and Palliative Care for the extraordinary care given to Mr. Harrison.
