Rev. James L. "J.L." Lombard:
A native of Biloxi, MS and a resident of Theodore, AL died Monday, July 17, 2000 at a local hospital. A retired Church of God minister. He is preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Ann Lombard. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary M. Lombard; three children, Larry (Mary) Lombard, Dorothy (James) Butler, and Annette (Thomas) Havard; one brother, John (Luzette) Lombard; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Rev. Lombard will lie in state at the Bayou La Batre Church of God on Wednesday, July 19, 2000 from 5:00 to 10:00 PM with funeral services on Thursday, July 20, 2000 at 2:00 PM followed by interment at Oddfellow Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are by SERENITY FUNERAL HOME, 8691 Old Pascagoula Rd., Mobile, AL.
