A merchant for many years, Mr. Walsworth was engaged in business in Ruston and Dodson before retirement. He was a member of the Jonesboro Baptist Church, the Masonic fraternity, and the Woodmen of the World.
Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Ella Temple Walsworth, and three sons, C. F. Walsworth, clerk of court of Winn Parish, G. M. Walsworth, with the state department of public safety, and Johnny Walsworth of Monroe; two sisters, Mrs. Rhoda Hall, Chatham, and Mrs. Mildred Ferguson, Minden; three brothers, S. W. Walsworth, Haynesville, Bob Walsworth, Jonesboro, and D. L. Walsworth, Venice, Calif.
Pallbearers were John R. Gray, Travis Pardue, Prof. McLaren, Assessor W. S. Baar [sic? Gaar] and Sheriff Neal Thomas, all of Jonesboro; and Frank Williams of Little Rock, Ark.
