"Mrs. Tandy A. Bryson, the former Ruth Freeman, died yesterday at the Sharpe Homestead, Troy, following a brief illness. She was a graduate of the Class of 1911 of Emma Willard School.
Born in Troy, she was a life-long resident of this area. She also resided in Eagle Mills. Mrs. Bryson was a member of the Ilium Club, Troy Women's Club and the Fifth Avenue-State Street Methodist Church. She was active in the Alumni Assn. of Emma Willard and was past president of the Thursday Morning Club. There are no immediate survivors.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday from the Himes Funeral Home, 1928 5th Ave., with Rev. Frederick W. Vogell, D.D., pastor of the Fifth-Avenue-State Street Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in the family plot in Oakwood Cemetery."
