MRS. W. S. THOMPSON DIES AT HAVANA (15 Jun 1939)
Mrs. Nancy Elizabeth Brim Thompson, wife of W. S. Thompson; died at their home northwest of Havana at 10 o'clock this morning from a stroke suffered last nite. She had been in ill health for about two years.

Mrs. Thompson was born at Montevallo, Mo., Aug 28, 1871 and lived there until the time of her marriage to Mr. Thompson on March 21, 1894. She had lived near Havana for 14 years.

Surviving, besides the husband, are three daughters. Mrs. J. C. Hadlock, Havana; Mrs. R. B. Fielding, Sedan, and Miss Alice Thompson, of Independence; six sons, Athol and Dorris, Havana, Raymond, Bartlesville; Earl and Hugh, Independence and Emil, Salt Lake City; two sisters, Mrs. Laura Shull, Dewey and Mrs. Lily Miller, Stockton, Mo.; three brothers, C. W. Brim, Elgin, J. F. Brim, Stockton, Mo., and George Brim, Tarkio, and 26 grandchildren; besides other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at the Havana Methodist church at 2:30 tomorrow afternoon with Rev. W. B. McKinney, of Caney, in charge and burial will be in the Havana cemetery. Pall bearers are to be Edgar Click, Charles Thomasson, Walter Brooks, G. A. Ryan, L. L. Kelso and Lee McCall.

The body will remain at the Joe Carinder Funeral home until 8 o'clock tomorrow morning when it will be taken to the family home to remain until one o'clock when it will be taken to the church.
