Conally Spangler, age 69, life-long farmer, died Wednesday at his home on the Lizton-North Salem Road. He had been ill three weeks, but bedfast only one week.
He was born February 15, 1881 in Patrick County, Virginia, a son of Franklin P. and Eleanor Webb Spangler. After coming to Hendricks County, he married Opal Tucker of Lizton. Mr. Spangler was a member of the Lizton K. of P. lodge.
Survivors include the widow, father, Franklin, of Indianapolis; daughter, Mrs. Virginia McKee, of Columbus, and two granddaughters, Jayne and Joyce. Also five sisters and three brothers survive. Services will be conducted at the residence Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in charge of the Rev. Guy Tremaine. Burial will be in the Lizton K. of P. cemetery.
