JONESBORO, Ga. — Graveside services for Floy Jo Duncan, 90, formerly of Kempner, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Copperas Cove City Cemetery.
Mrs. Duncan died Feb. 20, 2005 in Jonesboro.
She was born Nov. 8, 1914 in Bell County to Richard and Liza Jane Quitt Byrd.
On May 22, 1937 she married Mabry Lawrence Duncan in Copperas Cove.
Mrs. Duncan was a retired retail sales manager. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jonesboro since 1977, and an active participant in her Sunday School class and the "Saints Alive" senior citizens program.
Survivors include a daughter, Anita Pohl of Jonesboro; and two grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Feb. 15, 1988.
