Leah L. Foster, 76, R.R.4, Greensburg, died at 5:10 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, 1990 in the emergency room of the Bartholomew County Hospital, Columbus, Ind.

She was born Jan. 31, 1914, in Sardinia, the daughter of Glen and Pearl Brown Galbraith. She was a member of the East Columbus Christian Church.

She married E. Donald Foster in 1939, and they celebrated their 50th anniversary Nov. 25, 1989. Her husband survives; with two sons, Billy G. Oaks, Lee Center, N.Y., Billy G. Oaks, Lee Center, N.Y., and Ronald L. Foster, Atlanta, Ga.; one daughter, Donna S. Mefford, Nashville, Ind.; two brothers, Paul Galbraith, Azalia, Ind. and Vyron Galbraith, Columbus, Ind.; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Phillip Farnsley will conduct the services at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Reed and Jewell Funeral Home, Columbus, Ind.

Burial will be in the K of P Cemetery in Lizton, Ind., with memorial graveside services at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 8:30 a.m. until time of the service on Saturday.

Memorials may be given to the East Columbus Christian Church or to the American Heart Association.
