Leesville - Mrs. Agnes Taylor Alewine, 71, of 706 E. Church St., widow of Eskay Alewine, died Saturday. Born in Lexington County, she was a daughter of the late Eddie and Mattie Bell Taylor. She was a member of First Calvary Baptist Church. Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Neely Woodman of Jacksonville, Fla., Mrs. Dorothy Holley of Leesville, Mrs. Ruby Branham and Mrs. Libby Kneece of Batesburg, Mrs. Brenda Skillman of Clearwater and Miss Lanny Alewine of Lake Murray; a son, Sammy Alewine of Lexington; a brother, Pickens Taylor of Lexington; sisters, Mrs. Sue Gable of Lexington, Mrs. Mertis Kyzer and Mrs. Iva P. Durst of Leesville and Mrs. Mae Taylor of Pelzer, grandchildren; and great-grand-children. Plans will be announced by Barr Funeral Home. © The State, Columbia, SC, 11 Dec 1983
