Gained national attention when she won $1,000,000.00 in the Play The Dark Side promotional game from Taco Bell which was a promotional for the movie Star Wars Episode 1. She was featured in newspapers all over the United States and the win was witnessed by the Dexter, Missouri Taco Bell Manager. However when she sent in the forms to claim her money, Taco Bell refused to pay up claiming she had sent in a counterfeit token. McQueen sued but did not live to see the suit completed. Her children took over the case and it is still pending in court.
