Body of Yank Found in Ruins of War Bomber

The United States army has announced that workers dismantling the wreckage of an American bomber which crashed near St. Lorenzen in World War II discovered the remains of an American flyer.
From the flyer's serial number,the war department in Washington identified him as Sgt. Charles B. McCaughey, whose next of kin was his fathe,Byron McCaughey of Milan, Mo.
Other members of the plane's crew probably parachuted before it crashed in a forest.The flyer's body was taken to the St. Lorenzen church yard after its discovery Monday,to await instruction from the United States authorities.
