Mrs. Jennie Rogers, 83, of Bright died Thursday at the Victoria Nursing Home, Ayr, after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Rogers, the former Jennie Miller, was born in Bright.
She was a member of the United Missionary Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Fred (Eva) Shireman, Plattsville; one sister, Mrs. Marjorie Snowden, Windsor, and one grandchild.
The funeral service was held Saturday afternoon at the Glendenning Funeral Home, Plattsville, with Rev. Donald Pugh officiating. Temporary entombment was made in Chesterfield mausoleum.
Jennie's twin brother died in infancy.
