Frank Sterling Grunig passed away on September 30, 2010 at the age of 74. He was surrounded by his family and loved ones.

He was born in Montpelier, Idaho on December 1, 1935, to Loraine and Sophia Grunig. He married his sweetheart, and eternal companion, Beverly Jacobson, on October 1, 1953.

After he was married, he moved to Bountiful, UT, where he raised five wonderful children. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He spent his career as a very successful businessman and an insurance agent up until his final days.

He loved the outdoors, fishing, and hunting. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and most of all the love of his life, his sweetheart.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly; five children: Linda (Gordon) Jensen, Terry (Doug) Gurr, Kathy (Ron) Futrell, Mark Grunig and Lana (Kade) Peterson; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; siblings: Glen and Bob Grunig, and Elean Arnell.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, two brothers, his mother and father-in-law, and many other loved ones.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Chapel 2285 S. 200 W, Bountiful, Utah. Friends and family may pay respects at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 N. Main on Monday, October 4, from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. and on Tuesday at the church from 9:30 -10:45 a.m., prior to the service.

Interment- Bloomington, Idaho.
