GRANVILLE, N.Y. - Donna M. "Nain" Williams, 61, died Sept. 25, 2010, at her residence.

She was born March 6, 1949, in Granville, the daughter of Earl and Catherine (Roberts) Bruce.

She was a 1968 graduate of Granville High School.

On May 30, 1975, she married Pliny H. Williams.

Mrs. Williams owned and operated Cut and Curl Hair Salon in Granville from 1969 to 1979. She then went to work for Sherwood Medical in Argyle, retiring from Tyco Industries after 22 years when the business closed. In earlier years, she was a bartender for the Granville VFW Post.

She enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking and playing computer games.

Survivors include her husband of Granville; three daughters, Viviann Campbell of London, England, Gwen McCloud of Woodleaf, N.C., and Megan Williams of Granville; her stepchildren, James Paddock of Gansevoort and Lynn Cook of Bangor, Maine; 12 grandchildren; a brother, Philip Bruce of North Granville; an aunt and six cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents and a sister, Patricia Bruce.

The funeral service will be held at noon Saturday, Oct. 2, at Peniel Presbyterian Church, Quaker Street, Granville, where friends may call from 10 a.m. prior to the service officiated by the Rev. Robert Flower, pastor of South Granville Congregational Church. A reception will take place at Henry Hose Fire Department, West Main Street and Quaker Street, Granville.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Michael G. Angiolillo Funeral Home in Whitehall.
