Bessie married Jesse L. Reed in Wabash on September 29, 1944. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Wabash. She enjoyed playing cards.
She is survived by her husband, Jesse L. Reed of Wabash; Son, Randy Reed of Fort Wayne, Indiana; 2 granddaughters, Amanda L. Graf of Fort Wayne, and Jenny L. Reed of Leo, Indiana; great-granddaughter, Alexandra Graf of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 4 sisters.
Funeral services will be held at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave. Wabash on Monday, September 6, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 2-6pm Sunday at the funeral home.
