Doyle D. Constant, 62, passed away Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010, at Batesville.

He was born September 3, 1948 in Caraway to the late Arbie and Edith Constant.

For many years he was a farmer and the past ten years he worked as a diesel mechanic. Mr. Constant was a member of the Rivervale Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.

Survivors include his wife, Elsie Constant; a son, Rodney (Mary); four daughters, Christy (Gene Boggs), Tonya (Eddie Brown) all of Lepanto, Jenny (John Sarells) of Manila and Elizabeth (Mike McCluggage) of Lawrenceburg, Tenn; two brothers, Jerry Constant of Lepanto and Darryl Constant of Trumann; five sisters, Billie Scott, Shirley Woodall and Bonnie Ellison all of Caraway, Tammy Elrod of Lepanto and Abby Thacker of Hot Springs; thirteen grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Hazel Turner and Irma Boatman and a brother, Floyd Constant.

A celebration of his life was held at Gregg Funeral Home in Caraway with Mark Constant officiating. Burial was in Caraway Cemetery.
