Dates as per Texas CSA from MO GENWEB; states that John McGlothlin was born March 18, 1794 and died at about age 54 years. "Thanks, Texas CSA! klw

Crow Cemetery records as per Four Rivers Genealogical Society in Washington, MO read in 1999 has birth date as 1800 and death March 1834.

It has been reported that John McGlotlin went to Miller County, MO. and died there. I have this memorial as a reference for other family members who find this information, and the question it has raised.============
John definitely died sometime before 28 Sep 1850, at which time his wife and children are found on the 1850 U.S. Census for Miller County, Missouri with his older brother William (see below). There seems to have been an outbreak of cholera or malaria about the time of his death, given that several of the Goode family also died about this time in the same neighborhood. That's could help explain why it has been difficult to locate their graves, since the contagious deceased were often avoided and sometimes received mass burials.
