Our beloved mother, Naomi Coates, returned to her Heavenly Father and was reunited with her sweet companion, our dad, on April 7, 2001.
She was born on October 24, 1913 in Salt Lake City, Utah to William O. and Grace W. Woldberg.
Graduated from West High School where she excelled in sewing and as a member of the girls' basketball team.
She married John LeRoy Coates March 26, 1932.
Later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
A convert to the LDS Church, she served valiantly in many ward and stake callings.
Survived by her brother, Jack O. Woldberg; daughters, Myrna, Barbara and Nancy; son, Jeffrey; 22 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and 11great-great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Jeannene; and two grandchildren.
Funeral service Friday, April 13, 2001 at the Val Verda Stake Center, 2651 South 500 West, Bountiful, Utah.
Viewing April 12, 2001 from 6- 8 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, and at the church from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. prior to the service.
Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.
