Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Strong Funeral Home in Hickman, with the Rev. Eddie Mallonee officiating. Burial will follow in Hickman City Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 6-8 this evening and on Wednesday from noon until the hour of services. Pallbearers will be Greg Kemp, Tracy Cole, Trent Cole, Johnny Lattus, Gene Cole and David Lattus.
She was born Oct. 20, 1918, in Hickman, daughter of the late George and Josie (Cobbs) Terrett. She was the widow of Thomas Kemp and was a retired sewing machine operator at the former Salant and Salant Co. in Union City. She was a member of Hickman First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her son, George Kemp of Union City; two daughters, Marcella Parks of Tulsa, Okla., and Mitzi Cole of Union City; and five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Mitchell Kemp; and two brothers and seven sisters.
