Born Oct. 27, 1908, in Coeur d'Alene to Joseph and Nellie (Alexander) Schultz, she lived in Coeur d'Alene all her life. She graduated from Coeur d'Alene High School in 1928. On Cot 6, 1929 she married Arnold Brandt. He preceded her in death in 1975.
She worked as a stenographer for the State of Idaho Health and Welfare Department for 25 years. She was a member of Coeur d'Alene Eagles Auxiliary, Grandmothers Club and TOPS.
Survivors include daughters Delores "Dee" Longland of Coeur d'Alene and Donna Hoover of Spokane; nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mae Schultz in 1925, and a brother, Clarence Schultz in 1976.
