Joseph Michael (Joe) Bacon, 12 year old, Cisco 7th grader, was killed in a motorcycle accident at his home on Wednesday, September 29, 2010.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday at First Baptist Church, officiated by Lee Lewis and Reverend Terrell Jackson. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery under the direction of Kimbrough Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be 5:00-7:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
Joe was born on June 28, 1998 in Eastland, to Michael David and Laurna Frances (Gage) Bacon. Joe was a member of the 7th grade Cisco football team, and a member of Mitchell Baptist Church.
Joe is survived by his parents, Mike and Laurna Bacon; grandmothers, Polly Bacon and Helen Gage; and brother, Cory Edward Bacon, all of Cisco. He is also, survived by aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ben and grandfathers, Billy Bacon, Jr. and Roy Gage.
