James A. Maska, 57, Hays High School cross-country and track coach, died Thursday, Aug. 18, 1994.

Vigil 8 p.m. Sunday, service 10 a.m. Monday, both at St. Joseph's Church.

Survivors: wife, Kay; son, Kirk of Hutchinson; daughters, Debra Watts of Hays, Lisa Enslinger of Olathe, Jill Kolbeck of Wichita, Susan Burkhart of Dodge City; brothers, Joel, Jake, Jeff, John Rich, all of Hays; sisters, Joanette, Jenell Meyer, both of Hays, Juliene of Topeka; nine grandchildren.

Memorials have been established with the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, the USD 489 Foundation for Hays High Athletics, and the Hays Striders Track Club. Brock's North Hill Chapel.
