Polly Peck was married to
Robert C. Cathcart.
(For their children, see the memorial
for Polly's husband Robert C. Cathcart).
---------------------------
Polly died at the age of 52 years.
Her headstone reads:

POLLY
wife of
ROBT. CATHCART
died
March 9, 1848
aged 52 years
---------------------------
Polly Cathcart is among those listed
as having been buried in the
Kathryn Park Cemetery,
also known as "The Old Burying Ground",
and as the "McCoy Cemetery", because
it was the very first "public"
cemetery in the settlement of
"McCoy's Creek", later known as
Buchanan, Berrien County Michigan.
It has since been made into a children's
playground named Kathryn Park.
---
There is no record of Polly Cathcart
or her husband Robert Cathcart,
having been moved to the Oak Ridge Cemetery.
------------------------------
The following is also courtesy
of Kathy:
Connecticut probate records show
that Polly's Uncle gave a bequest to
the children of his deceased brother
Julius Peck Sr. including,
"Polly Peck, wife of Robert Cathcart".

Note: There was a Dr. Lester Elmer Peck
(1870-1916),
who was a doctor in Buchanan, Michigan.
He registered as a homeopathic doctor
on April 29, 1895. He signed the death
certificates for Marvin Cathcart in
1909, and for Marvin's wife Martha Adeline
Cathcart in 1916, in Buchanan, Michigan.
Lester was the son of John F. Peck,
and his wife Angeline Stover.
Lester was married to Maude Mowrey,
on Oct. 17, 1895, in Buchanan,
Berrien County Michigan.
Lester is also buried in this
Oak Ridge Cemetery.
---
We do not think at this time,
that Lester E. Peck (1870-1916),
or Marvin Cathcart (1826-1909),
(both buried here in Oak Ridge),
were closely related to
Polly (Peck) Cathcart,
or her husband Robert C. Cathcart.
