Funeral services for Jessie Adeline Hayes, 85, who passed away at Mast Hospital Saturday, Mar 16, were held at the Schroeder Funeral Home Monday at 2:00 with Rev. Edward McClurg officiating. Internment at the Norway cemetery.
Survivors are 4 daughters, Mrs. Josephine Neal and Mrs. Lawrence Mullen, Myrtle Point; Mrs. Januita (sic) Bartlett, Corcoran, Calif; and Mrs. J. L. Kootz (sic), Coos Bay; 2 sons Clayton and Kermit Hayes, both of Gaylord; 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Hayes had been a resident of Coos Co. for the past 66 years and had a wide circle of friends. She and her husband owned and operated the large family dairy farm at Gaylord for many years.
