Mrs. Emma Amelia Smith who has resided in Lake City, Elk County for forty years, died at her home in that place Tuesday, Dec. 25th. She was aged 72 years. Her husband preceded her in death twenty years ago.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Lake City Church. Rev. R.C. Brooks will officiate. Burial will be in the Lake City Cemetery.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Carrie Kennedy, Mrs. Anna Fulmer and Mrs. Margaret Spieler, of Lake City; two sons, Lester Smith of Lake City, and Charles Smith, of Powell Street, Ridgway; two sisters, Mrs. Samuel Hiester and Miss Margaret Johns of New Kesington; three brothers, Wm. Johns, New Castle; Edward Johns and Elija Johns, Stanton, Pa. and fourteen grand children.
