Daughter of Jared and Selinda Lyle Jones, she was widowed, lived at Lake City, died at 810 W. 5th Ave, Warren, PA, of coronary heart disease due to arteriosclerosis, per death certificate 29865, whose informant was Frieda Davis, Warren, PA. Buried Mar 24 1953.

Largely attended funeral services were held Monday afternoon in the Lake City, Elk County, Methodist church for Mrs. Ella Olson, 87, who died Friday evening at 8:15 in the home of her daughter. Mrs. J. L. (Freda) Davis, 810 W. Fifth avenue, Warren, with Rev. Milton Thomas officiating.


Mrs. Olson spent the greater part of her time here in the past few years and made many friends among those visiting at the Davis home. The many beautiful floral tributes expressed the love and sympathy of a wide circle of friends.


Surviving are a son, Glen Olson of Lake City; daughters Mrs. Davis and Hazel Lawton of Los Angeles, CA; four grandsons; four great-grandchildren; the brothers and sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Taylor and Mrs. Effie Shanley of Ridgway, Mrs. Carrie Boyer, Brookville, and Rodney Jones, Sugar Hill.


Interment was in Lake City Cemetery with Van Aiken Funeral Home of Ridgway in charge of arrangements.
