Calhoun MO - Mrs. Alice Redford, wife of Morgan Redford, and an aunt of Mrs. Sam Beaty, died at her home in Edmond, Okla., Sunday, November 8th. She is the mother of Rev. Courts Redford, president of the Southwest Baptist College. The body was shipped to Calhoun Tuesday afternoon and the funeral services were held from the Baptist church, and burial was made in the Calhoun cemetery. Mrs. Redford's father, Jonathan T. Berry*, was an early settler of Henry county and lived northwest of Calhoun.

Her paternal grandparents were Jonathan Taylor Berry and Eleanor M. Taylor, who had a dau also named Lucy Alice Berry, aunt of this Lucy Alice Berry Redford.

*note: Dau Ollie is in 1930/OK census as a Roomer, divorced, altho she is shown as married 1910 and widow in 1920.

While no marker was found, there are many illegible, broken and partially buried stones at this cemetery, as well as numerous unmarked graves. Some or all of her five infants may be buried this cemetery.
