She was born on December 29, 1922, in Mink Creek, Idaho, to Mads Anderson and Karoline Olsen Christensen. Karoline died when Elsie was two days old and Elsie was raised by Ezra E. Larsen and Beatrice Rasmussen.
She married Curtis "B" Keller on June 25, 1941, in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple. Curtis and Elsie were married 69 years prior to her death.
Elsie spent her younger years in Mink Creek, Idaho, and later moved to Preston, where she has lived 62 years. She always loved to take a ride back to Mink Creek recounting many personal experiences in her little valley. Elsie loved gardening and especially liked growing many different kinds of beautiful flowers that were enjoyed by many.
She worked for 30 years in the retail grocery business. Most of the 30 years on the corner of Oneida and First West - Milo's AG Market and Later Safeway's. The supermarket was a place of hard work, but also a place where Elsie enjoyed seeing many good friends.
She was truly a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. The void in our lives created by her passing can now be filled by our faith, work, and testimonies in our Heavenly Father's joyous Plan of Salvation … the plan that can bring us all together once again.
Elsie is survived by her husband, Curtis, of Preston; her children, Curtis Anthony (Kathy) of Soda Springs, Idaho, Barbara Ann (Gordon) Nelson, of Brigham City, Utah, Rosemary (George) Fewell, of North Ogden, Utah, and Kevin E. (Carol) Keller, of Preston, Idaho; 14 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and a grandson.
