Funeral Services Are Held in Leon CO. for Mrs. W. C. House
Funeral services for Mrs. Fannie A. House, 65 of Normangee were held at 2:00 p. m. May 15 at the Evans Chapel Church in Leon County. She died May 13 at her home in Normangee.
Mrs. House was born in Leon County, January 10, 1892, and was Miss Fannie A. Mattison before her marriage to W. C. House.
Surviving her are her husband of Normangee; two sons, T. M. House of Houston and Carl House of Austin; one daughter, Mrs. Beth Eckert of Torrance, Calif. two brothers Macon Mattison of Jewett and George Mattison of Ft. Worth; three sisters, Mrs. Ike Daughtry of Houston, Mrs. Doyle Lauderdale of Galena Park and Mrs. Lela Ledford of Webster; one granddaughter, Leisa Carol House. She is also survived by a niece, Mrs. Jessie L. Bovard of Pittsburg Pa., and a nephew, John T. Seale of Flynn, whom she reared.
Services were conducted by Rev. Mr. Lambert of East Houston. Interment was in the Evans Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Riddle Funeral Home. Pallbearers were William Crouch, Worth Washburn, Morris House, Jack Daughtery, J. D. Washburn and Kermit Cox.
