Mr. Archie Patterson Bonds CONCORD - Mr. Archie Patterson Bonds, 82, died Tuesday, May 31, 2005, at his residence. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. John Sell will officiate. Burial will be at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Wilkinson Funeral Home. Mr. Bonds was born Oct. 29, 1922, in Cabarrus County, the son of the late Walter and Eunice Linker Bonds. He was a life member of Woodmen of the World, a member of the D.A.V. former member of Bayless Presbyterian Church and a veteran of World War II in the U.S. Army, 807th Tank Destroyer Battalion. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Ralph, Earl, and Jimmy Bonds; a sister, Elizabeth Seaford and a daughter-in-law, Marcia Bonds. Mr. Bonds is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Mrs. Shirley P. Bonds; sons, Mr. Bobby Bonds and wife, Susie of Concord, Mr. Larry Bonds of Charlotte and Mr. Terry Bonds of Mooresville; sisters, Mrs. Shirley Almon of Concord and Mrs. Ruth Greene of Salisbury; sister-in-law, Mrs. Adelaide Bonds; special friend of the family, Jane Hall; and grandson, Bryan Bonds. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of the Cabarrus Health Alliance and Hospice of Cabarrus County for all their support.
