Death's Doings--Mrs. Allison Passed Away Yesterday Morning--Death in Sharon.

Mrs. Mary Allison died in Atlanta yesterday morning at 2 o'clock from the effects of a stroke of paralysis which she had some weeks ago. Deceased was 56 years of age, a member of Tryon Street Methodist church and a most estimable woman in every respect. She was the mother of Mrs. Waite and Mrs. Gaile, of Atlanta, and of Capt. J. A. Allison, Mr. Thomas Allison and Mrs. Fasnacht, of the city, and was also a sister of Mrs. M. L. Frazier and Mrs. H. C. Irwin. The remains will be brought here this morning on the six o'clock train, and the funeral services will be conducted from Tryon Street Methodist church at 3 o'clock this afternoon by Dr. Creasy. Friends and acquaintances invited to attend.

Miss S. P. Kirkpatrick, age 44 years, died Tuesday evening at her home in Sharon, after an illness of several weeks.

The funeral services were conducted yesterday afternoon from Sharon church.

Mrs. Allison's Funeral.

The funeral services over the remains of the late Mrs. Mary Allison were held yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock at Tryon Street Methodist church and were attended by a large concourse of friends. Rev. Dr. Creasy conducted the service, and made a comforting talk to the bereaved. He extolled the character of deceased, and spoke touchingly of her godly example and Christian influence. The remains were interred at Elmwood cemetery. The pall-bearers were Messrs. M. C. Mayer, J. L. Davis, W. R. Jones, H. G. Link, M. F. Kirby and W. S. Wearn.
