Mary Louese Bycroft, 92 of Roseville, IL passed away Monday May 2, 2011, at the Roseville Rehab and Health Care Center. She was born February 15, 1919 in Smithshire, IL the daughter of Walter and Beulah Fisher Beard. She married Clarence H. Bycroft Jr. on January 8, 1941. He preceded her on January 2, 2002.
She is survived by one son Howard (Susan) Bycroft of Roseville, IL; one daughter Karen (Delbert) Thompson of Bushnell, IL; 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren; one brother Harold (June) Beard of Roseville, IL; one sister Betty Gayman of TX.. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 daughter (Ellen Solomon), 1 sister (Pauline Bycroft), 1 brother (Scott Beard).
She has lived most of her life in the Roseville community area. She was a member of the Roseville Christian Church, and a M.B.C. Club Member. She was a farmer's wife and worked for the Laharpe School District, she also worked at Laharpe Nursing Home.
Memorial service will be Wednesday May 4, 2011, 11:00, at the Bushnell Christian Church. Family will receive friends Tuesday eve May 3, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Corman Memorial Home Roseville, IL. Cremation rites have been accorded burial will be at a later date.
