Daughter of James "Jim" F. Wells and Louisa Poteet. Mima Caroline Wells married Alexander Riley Browning in 1905. Alex and her had no children of their own although they raised the children of many of Alex's and Mima's brothers and sisters. Mima had 2 sisters, Sarah S. "Steny" Wells and Martha J. Wells and 1 brother John Charles "Crit" Wells (also buried in Glencoe Cemetery with his wife). Mima died in the old Saint Mary's Hospital now Mountain View Regional Medical Center. She died from a stroke or cerebral hemorrhage due to hypertensive vascular disease.
