Mrs. Ida Vetting Anderson, 74, of 819 North 13th street, widow of George
Anderson, an official of the Manitowoc Seed company, died early today. She
has not been in the best of health in recent years.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the residence, the Rev.
Ernest Zoerb of the First Lutheran church officiating. Burial will be in
Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. Anderson, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Louis Vetting, was born in
Manitowoc in 1868 and in 1889 was married to George Anderson. For several years
they resided on a farm in Manitowoc Rapids, eight miles west of the city. They
moved to Manitowoc when Mr. Anderson was named vice-president of the Manitowoc
Seed company. He died in 1931.
Mrs. Anderson was a member of the First Lutheran church.
Survivors are a daughter, Miss Ella, who resided with her mother, and a brother,
Fred, of Denver, Colo. Another brother, Emil, died two weeks ago.
The body will be moved to the home on North 13th street Tuesday noon from the
Frazier mortuary and may be viewed there until the hour of the services.
