AUGUSTUS WRIGHT: 73; of HammondAve, died of a sudden heart attack Thursday night [1-16] at his home. He was born 18 Dec 1884 at MtComfort IN, son of Josephus & Amanda Wal-lace Wright & resided there during his youth. He lived in DesMoines & Riceville for 12 years prior to coming to Waterloo in 1915. MrWright was an employe in the sterilizing department of Rath Packing Co 37 years before his retire-ment in 1952. He married Mary Sisley 30 Jun 1909. She died in 1938.
Surviving are son: Donald Wright of Hawthorne Ave, dau: MrsMarcella Bottomley of Hammond Ave & 2 sisters: Mrs Minnie Harvey-Greenfield IN & MrsMargaret Fink-Monon IN. There are also 2 grandchildren.
Service will be Monday afternoon[1-20] at the Kearns-Dykeman Funeral Home, RevHE Dieren-field, pastor of First Presbyterian church, will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cem.
