Doloris Nadine (Foreman) Skaggs, age 82, left her earthly family on Monday, September 27, 2010, at 6:30am to join her heavenly family which includes her husband and love of 60 years, Everett Gene Skaggs.

She was born July 20, 1928, in Baxter Springs, Kansas to Ruby Pauline Banning and Clyde G Foreman. She was the oldest of four children which included two brothers, Howard Foreman, and Mick Foreman, and one sister Judy Perry.

1946 was a busy year for Doloris, she met Gene in January and was married in Columbus, Kansas on February 27, she then graduated from Baxter Springs high school in May and had her first child in December.

Doloris and Gene raised a total of four children: Connie Benbrook of Dewey Oklahoma, Cathy Handshy of Columbus Kansas, Jesse Skaggs of Miami Oklahoma and Pete Skaggs also of Miami, Oklahoma.

The family continued to grow with the addition of 10 grandchildren and 18 great grand children, several nieces and nephews, as well as an untold number of friends.
