Gladys Lee Clark Butts age 88 of Pell City, formerly of Connersville, IN. and Greenville, OH. died Thursday, September 23, 2010.
Mrs. Butts was an ordained elder with the Wesleyan Holiness Church. She was also a licensed practical nurse for 12 years after she had retired from Ford Motor Company in Connersville.
She was preceded in death by her husbands: Harry Clark and Chester Butts, her daughters: Letha Ruth Clark Pepple and Esther Lavonne Clark; her granddaughters: Rebecca Sue Pepple and Vonda Kay Pepple Flores and her stepson: Francis Clark.
Mrs. Butts is survived by her grandsons and their families: Mike & Rhonda Pepple - Bradley, Heather and Grant; Mark and Peggy Pepple - Jeremy, Jonathon and Joshua; Merlin and Deana Pepple – Meadow Rose Pepple; her sister, Dorothy Allaway; her brother; Eurel E. Capps; her step-children: Thomas Butts, Larry Butts, Janice Meade; and several step grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at 10:00 AM from Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home in Connersville, IN. with burial to follow in Dale Cemetery. Visitations will be Sunday, September 26, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm. at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds, AL. and Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home in Connersville, IN.
