LUCILLE McLAIN GRAVESIDE RITES HERE THURSDAY

Lucille L. McLAIN, 72, of Perryton, died May 9, 1888. Graveside funeral rite were held in the Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery in Canadian, with the Rev. Jeff Knighton, pastor of the First Christian Church of Scott City, Kansas, officiating.

Mrs. McLAIN, a native of Glazier, born December 20, 1915, was a lifelong resident of the Panhandle. She was married in 1936 in Canadian to Keith McLAIN, who died in 1969. She was a member of the First Christian Church at Perryton.

Surviving are three sons, Dean McLAIN of Sonora, Dean McLAIN of Kilgore, and Sam McLAIN of Perryton; four sisters, Lola SCHAFER of Canadian, Mary PHILLIPS of Arnett, Oklahoma, Wana CLEMENT of Amarillo, and Lena JONES of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; two brothers, Happy Guffey of Wheeler and Berlyn GUFFEY of Canadian; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
