Wilda Rachel Flory Houff, 77, of Bridgewater and formerly of day, Nov. 11, 2003, at the Bridgewater Home.
Mrs. Houff was born Thursday, Dec. 17, 1925, in Weyers Cave, and was a daughter of the late Walter and Nina Wright Flory.
She was a lifelong member of the Pleasant Valley Church of the Brethren. She was a granddaughter of D. C. Flory, founder of the Bridgewater College.
On Aug. 17, 1944, she married William A. Houff Jr., who survives.
She is also survived by a daughter, Deborah Price of Harrisonburg; a son, W. Dale Hourff of Luray; a sister Mary Cline of Waynesboro; and five grandchildren.
The Revs. Matthew Fike and Kelly Meyerhoeffer will conduct a memorial service 7 p. m. Thursday at the Pleasant Valley Church of the Brethren, where the family will receive friends following the service.
Friends may also call at the Houff home, 100 Rosewood Circle, Bridgewater, at any time.
Her body has been cremated.
