I recently started tracing my family history again and was baffled as to where his first and middle name had come from, since I hadn't found any other William or the Hibbett on any side of the family.
I finally asked another cousin. He told me that when he was born the doctor had asked his mother to name the baby after him...he was Dr. William Hibbett.
