George A. Haverstick, 65, died at his home, 1900 Mock avenue, at 9:30 o'clock yesterday morning from a lingering illness. He came to Muncie about 1888 with the Darnell nail mill. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 o'clock tomorrow morning at the Industry U.B. Church with the Rev. Mr. Tranbarger and the Rev. Mr. Mercer officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Bessie Haverstick, two daughters, Mary and Bernice, a son, Thomas, a brother, Haratha, and a sister, Mrs. Mamie Kerrington.
